The Society of Michigan Rat Fanciers (SMRF) is a proud affiliate of the Rat Society of America (RSA). It and its members firmly abide by and adhere to the standards of the RSA. SMRF is also a proud member and supporter of the Rat Assistance & Teaching Society.
The mission of the Society of Michigan Rat Fanciers is threefold. One: To alert the general public to what great companions domestic rats can be. Two: To educate rat owners about the importance of proper quarantine practices. And Three: To provide a valuable information resource for rat owners.
